The University of Connecticut School of Medicine’s Division of Graduate Medical Education(GME) is dedicated to the oversight and management of high quality, comprehensive, and culturally relevant health.
The cost of providing graduate medical education to the approximatelymedical residents in the United States is approximately $18 billion. The government, primarily through the Medicare program, funds almost two thirds of the cost.
